Rob has been writing songs since he was 12 years old and has kept every song he has ever written and recorded. His love for music was inspired by The Beatles, as both a group and as solo members. Rob is a self-taught musician and plays all the instruments on his songs as well as does all the vocals.
He was first introduced to the music industry in 1989 with the release of his first single “Drifting Apart/Take Away Love.” Before taking a 20+ year break from music, the last song Rob recorded was his sister’s wedding song in 1997.
In 2020, Rob found himself locked down at home due to the pandemic. During this time, he rediscovered his passion for songwriting and released four new songs that year and followed that up in 2021 with three more new songs written as part of sessions with Ryan Tedder. Motivated by this creative surge, Rob embarked on the project of assembling his comeback album, titled "Back To The Start: The Album", which was released on February 10, 2023. The album featured six new songs alongside remastered versions of Rob’s previously released singles. The album received widespread critical acclaim, with reviewers describing it as a “must-listen” and an “experience that transcends the ordinary.” Notably, the album has garnered over one million streams.
Later in 2023, Rob unveiled an updated version of his 1989 single, “Drifting Apart (2023),” followed by the release of his album "Life" on July 8, 2024. "Life" once again brought Rob to the forefront of critical acclaim, with publications praising his songwriting and storytelling abilities as well as noting that "Rob’s return to music had been nothing short of remarkable."
At the end of 2024, Rob returned to the studio and is currently working on his next project due out summer of 2025.
